Sa Rua & Sa Rueta are two street carnivals that take place over a weekend in Palma de Mallorca with a procession of floats and parties all in fancy dress.
The Sa Rueta is the children’s carnival and parade, and takes place on Sunday morning from 10.30am to 1.30pm (from Placa del Mercat to Avenida d’Antoni Maura). Sa Rua is the adult version and is held from 5.00pm on the Sunday. There are prizes for the best costumes and the procession will march down Passeig de Mallorca, Avendida Jaime III onto the Passeig del Born and Avenida d’Antoni Maura.
