Alcudiamar extends the length of its concession

The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) approves the request to extend the marina concession until 2030.

Palma, April 7, 2016. The Board of Directors of the Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB), which met on April 6, has approved the extension of the concession period for Alcudiamar in the port of Alcudia, according to the terms provided in the law.
The Board of Directors of the APB has granted to extend the term of the concession to the company Alcudiamar, which this entity will manage the resort and marina of Alcudia for 12 years, so the concession will total 42 years.
Alcudiamar is committed to making an investment of 21,773,185 euros in this period and to pay an annual rate of 2.712 million euros. In addition, it will contribute 600,000 euros to the State Fund for Port Connectivity through which the Spanish ports of general interest finance projects of road and rail connections outside their service area needed to provide adequate access to its facilities and enhance their competitiveness.
