Driving Mallorca’s first Rally Sprint is to take place on the 30th and 31st of October. The event is looking very promising, inscriptions are coming in and the formalities are all in place. A lot of hard work has gone into this, mainly by club members Paul Madden and Jaime Carbonell with the full collaboration of the FAIB – Federació d’Automobilismo de les Illes Balears and the organisational support of the Asociación de Amigos del Motor Clásico.
The Parc Fermé will be based at “The Boathouse” in front of the Auditorium where scrutineering will take place on Friday the 30th October from 18:00 onwards. The Rally Sprint will be held on Saturday the 31st with the first car leaving “The Boathouse” at 09:00. The route will take participants from Palma to the bottom of the Coll de Soller where the road will be closed for the Special Stages. There will be three races in the Palma to Soller direction in the morning and two races in the afternoon from the Soller to Palma direction.
Participants and cars will return to the Parc Fermé around 17:00 where there will be a prize giving, BBQ, DJ and big screens to watch the World Cup Rugby Final!
