The beautiful island of Mallorca is going to welcome another stunning event to the 2016 calendar when an International Concours d’Elegance for vintage cars and motorcycles will be organized for the first time on the island.
Port Adriano, Driving Mallorca, The Classic Car Club of Mallorca, the American Car Club and various other institutions have co-operated under the banner of Mallorca Classic Week for the benefit of local charitable beneficiaries. Jointly hosted by the Clubs, the inaugural Mallorca Classic Week taking place in September 2016 offers a great incentive for classic car, motorcycle and yacht owners from abroad to travel
Classic cars and motorcycles are fast becoming as much of a feature of Mallorca as the many beautiful classic yachts that pass through the island, providing the impetus for the organising Clubs to create the Mallorca Classic Week, adding another date in the diary celebrating the finest in the genre that the world has to offer, whilst also enabling those participating to enjoy some of the most breathtaking and finest driving roads in Europe.
Port Adriano and the Philippe Stark-designed marina building provide the perfect setting for an event of this kind, with general admission free for visitors and affordable food on site for the duration of the event on Saturday September 24th and 25th 2016.
The reaction of classic motorists to the concept has been overwhelmingly positive, with entries are coming in 9 months ahead of the start. The number of participants will be limited to 50 cars and 20 motorcycles with numerous entries already received from the island and all over Europe. Entrants are admitted on a first come first serve basis and advice and assistance in getting cars and motorcycles to the event is being provided by specialist carriers via the event organisers. Special low rates are agreed upon for participants with Balearia one of the ferry lines. Potential entrants should know that the finest Seat 600 is just as welcome as more extraordinary vehicles – and there is a great number on the island!
Classic Cars and motorcycles need to be of an age over 25 years with contemporary changes allowed, with entrants adding to the atmosphere by being asked to dress for the International Concourse d’Elegance in a contemporary style fitting the period of their vehicles.

11.00am – “Classic Festival”, American Car Show – enjoy the V8 engine roar with music provided by Elvis Presley look/sound alike and participants in 50’s dress. Organized by the American Car Club
4.30pm – “International Concours d´Elegance“, Port Adriano for the “The Russell Stevens Award” – The best of show car will be elected by ballot sheets filled in by the visitors. Organized by the American Car Club, the Classic Car Club of Mallorca and Driving Mallorca.

Entry Fees for Participants
For the Welcome Barbecue at the Boathouse, Roadbooks for individual drives, the Classic Festival, the American Car Show, the Concours d´Elegance and the Sightseeing Mallorca Rallye, enabling participants to discover the cultural and culinary delights of the island by classic car and motorcycle, the participation fees per person are as follows::
Welcome Hamburger Barbecue – € 15
Concours d’Elegance – € 40, including the Classic Festival Fiesta in the evening.

Free General Admission
The Mallorca Classic Week will be a wonderful event for individuals and families, as much as for enthusiasts. Admission for spectators to all elements of the Classic Festival, the Concours d’Elegance and the start of Mallorca Sight Seeing Rallye is free.
Affordable food and drinks will be available in Port Adriano following the theme of the American Car Show – Hamburgers, hot dogs and other snacks.
